Using Testosterone To Improve Heart Health
A study conducted in Italy demonstrates the restorative benefits from testosterone therapy. The study showed that regular treatments of the male hormone testosterone increased the blood pumping ability and heart muscle strength in men with heart failure.
Heart failure is the progressive loss of ability in the heart to pump blood. In men with the condition, about one in four have testosterone deficiency. It’s widely known that testosterone declines with age.
Other studies involving using testosterone injections as well as a hormone-delivering skin patches have showed equally promising results.
